A relaxed kayak tour for visitors and cruise passengers who want to see Ísafjörður from the water. Paddle beneath the steep Westfjords mountains while your guide shares stories of local life, trolls and the geology that shaped the fjord.

A private half day paddle planned around your group and the weather. We choose the most sheltered nearby fjord for the day, giving you the best chance of calm water and an unhurried Westfjords adventure.
Includes one or two guests. Additional guests are 15,000 ISK each, up to a maximum of six guests.

We are a small kayak tour company based in Ísafjörður in the Westfjords of Iceland. Our trips are welcoming and relaxed, whether it is your first time in a kayak or simply your favourite way to explore.
Westfjords weather likes to have the final word. We choose sensible routes, adapt when conditions change and only paddle when it is safe and enjoyable.

Good to know
No. The tours are suitable for beginners and start with a clear safety and paddling briefing.
Wear warm layers that dry quickly and avoid cotton. We provide neoprene boots and paddling suits that help protect you from wind and splashes, but the suits are not fully waterproof. Kayaking is a water activity, so expect to finish the tour damp.
Safety comes first. We may adjust the route, move the departure time or cancel if conditions are not suitable.
For the Ísafjörður tour, meet at Red Hut 3, labelled Tours & Gifts, at the main cruise port. Private tour meeting details are confirmed before departure.
